Fondation Gautier Capuçon’s
Winter Mountain & Music Festival
in St Gervais

music / education
France

In 2025, we established with Fondation Gautier Capuçon a music mountain winter festival in Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc, where young classical music talents from around the world present an ambitious concert programs for music lovers of all ages and give public masterclasses at the Music Conservatory.

Since its inception, the festival was imagined to link music and sports and apprehend the theme of the musician as an athlete.

Through roundtables and workshops open to the public, the musicians engage in a dialogue with elite and amateur athletes.

The aim is to explore the parallels between musicians and athletes, examine the physical demands and mental discipline required to excel in each field and foster a conversation about performance, passion, and perseverance.

Past and present intervening guests include Chloe Lanthier, former mountain biking world champion and specialist physiology and biomechanics, Isabelle Delobel, former ice dancing world champion and coach and Kevin Roux, elite trail athlete and physical trainer.
